Catch The PLANE & get INSANE

Are you interesting in knowing what are the costs of living in Lanzarote? I will tell you excatly!

As most of you know, Lanzarote has been my home since the first time my heart felt the magic of the island. What not many of you know is that apart from every other aspect that made me fall in love with this place, it is also that life in terms of economy is just as fabulous.

money

The basic tax is not 21% like in Spain, but 6.5%!

Of course, salaries are not underestimated for this reason and most employees also work on sales commissions.

In the photo above, I show you the district

where I was renting an apartment in part of the island called Costa Teguise.

Living room connected with kitchen.

One bedroom, laundry room and bathroom.

5 minutes from the beach (before the block was built,

you could even see the beach from the window).

I paid €475 for rent + electricity every two months on average €50-70.

Rental prices are really different, but on average you have to count 600€ for two rooms.

I just happened to get an opportunity of better rental price because before me, my apartment had been rented by friends of my friend, who helped me arrange it at a lower price.

I worked in a 5 star hotel as a front desk receptionist in Costa Teguise.

The salary for this position is around €1200-1600 per month + sales commissions, which can be as high as €500.
