Skin And Hair Care While Traveling
Catch The PLANE & get INSANE Does your skin, hair, nails, teeth - the whole body undergo changes during or after the trip? Does it have problems with accommodation and it takes forever to get back to normal? I have several proven methods for skin and hair care while traveling, each from a different person and each from a different country. Each tested in various conditions, all reliable! I have always loved experimenting cosmetically with my body and appearance, although it did not always end well. 😄 Nowadays, it is difficult to take care of yourself 100% naturally, because all the products we use contain chemicals, especially those with the ECO label or "99% from natural ingredients". I was fooled by this for a long time, and home remedies did not give me satisfactory results. After years of research and knowledge gained from people from different parts of the world, I have selected the perfect products, not only for me, but for many of you. I don't know a single person who wasn't satisfied with these tricks. How to care for your hair? It may not seem scary to us, but our hair goes through a shock when traveling or changing places. During the journey itself, they are exposed to many factors, both climatic and the fact that there is no safe form that we can provide them with while traveling. Tied or loose, they won't be comfortable either way. During the journey: Personally, the day before departure, or a few hours before departure, I do co-wash, i.e. I wash my hair with conditioner only. After bathing, I apply a large amount of hair mask, and before I leave, I loosely braid the braids and tie them with thin, small rubber bands to hold the braid in place without risking the hair cuticle to break when tied tightly. Hair preserved in this way not only nourishes and moisturizes throughout the journey, but also creates a protective barrier. Enviroment change: Climate change is not just about changing the weather. It's a change of water, air, food, everything! In my case, the worst issue is water. If the water is "hard", my hair immediately looks like hay. as if I had subjected them to severe torture all my life. What has saved them more than once in such a situation is, above all, olive oil . The most common cooking olive oil. When an Italian friend recommended this method to me, I applied large amounts of olive oil to the length of my hair several times a week for many weeks. The effects were visible after about 2 months! They went from "hay" to a condition that I could let them loose without being ashamed of their condition, and what's more, people started complimenting how beautiful they were! Next I started paying a lot of attention to the shampoos I used to wash my hair. I have already tested many "everything FREE" shampoos, but my favorite is definitely: Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Moisture Retention. Additionally, Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Restorative conditioner from the same series. And after all, as a perfect complement Cantu Shea Butter Leave in Conditioning Repair Cream . Such a basic hair washing routine is the key to success, and when combined with the right method, it gives the wow effect ! There are plenty of suitable methods, mine is this: Step 1 - Right after getting in the shower, I wet my hair and apply a conditioner or mask. I put on a cap and wash myself. Step 2 - after washing, after about 10 minutes, I take off the cap, slightly moisten the scalp and wash my hair with shampoo, only from the roots . Step 3 - I apply olive oil to the ends and rinse the shampoo. Step 4 - I squeeze the hair from the ends to the scalp under a stream of water, kneading it. This is how I get rid of shampoo. Step 5 - after turning off the water, I apply the conditioner and comb it with a special brush, then knead the hair with my hand again. Step 6 - I wrap my hair in a microfiber towel, knead it and leave it for about 15-20 minutes until the excess water is absorbed into the towel. By applying conditioner before shampooing, we protect the hair cuticle, knead to remove excess products, and use a microfiber to prevent the hair from electrifying. Finally, something that really worked well for my hair during direct exposure to the sun during the years I worked in the Canary Islands were hair straightening products. Products that protect hair from high temperatures. I came across it by accident and it worked perfectly: Marion Thermo Protection Serum. It is not a natural product, but I must admit that it does not interfere with my rituals. How to take care of your teeth? I won't write too much here because three things are enough: 1. Baking Soda After brushing my teeth, I put some baking soda on my toothbrush and scrubbed my teeth with it, then left it for a few minutes. I repeated this twice a week for about a year and a half and I must admit that since I stopped this treatment I have noticed a big change, unfortunately a negative one. + if I want to stick to it in the long run, I recommend fluoridation at the dentist. ATTENTION: Baking soda destroys enamel, so I do not recommend this trick to people whose enamel is sensitive. 2. Active Carbon After brushing my teeth i add some of active carbon on my toothbrush and scrubbed my teeth with it, then left it for a few minutes. You can see the results after first time! 3. Pineapple You don't have to rub it or do other unusual things with it, just eat it. Honestly, I don't know why or how, but it works. We're talking about eating pineapples every day, but not just a few times a week. To confirm that it improved the color of my teeth, I ate pineapple every day, even twice a day, and only then after some time I could see a slight improvement. When I did all three things together, I had the most beautiful smile I could imagine. White and eye-catching, I was often asked what I did to have such white teeth. You can too because you already know my secret! How to take care of your skin? 1. The Sun Does Its Thing When traveling, do not obsessively protect your skin from the sun's rays, because you may do more harm than good. Letting the sun shine on our skin will not only give us color, but above all, vitaminization and dry out imperfections. Instead of UF filters, I recommend vitamin A ointment. 2. Vitamin A While we're at it. Vitamin A ointment costs cents and has an amazing effect on the skin! Smoothes, closes pores, protects and moisturizes. It's perfect for traveling, on the beach, on an adventure, every day! Personally, I apply it at least 4 times a week. 3. Charcoal And Gelatin Cleansing Mask Brilliant for cleansing the skin of blackheads, and as we know - while traveling or after changing places, blackheads will definitely appear. I pour about 3 tablespoons of water, 1 teaspoon of gelatin and 1 capsule/tablet of charcoal into a small pot and then put it over steam, stirring for a few minutes, and Vuala. READY! 4. Milk Compresses While traveling, during or after changing places, we may be tired and dehydrated, which will result in bruises or "bags" under the eyes. Simply dipping a cotton ball in cold milk and placing it on your eyes can work wonders! When the cotton pad warms up, just wet it again in cold milk and keep the compresses on for about 15 minutes. I have tried every possible solution for dark circles under the eyes, and since I discovered this one, I didn't have to look any further. 5. Facial Massage You can do it anywhere, on the bus, on the train, at work, on the plane, everywhere. I have been massaging my face twice a day while applying the cream for several years. Step by step: Step I : I gently tap the skin around my eyes with my fingertips. Step II : While stretching my right cheek, I gently tap my fingers towards the ear, upwards. Then I do the same with my left cheek. Step III : I pull my chin up and forward and use both hands to gently tap it from the bottom up. Step IV : I relax my forehead as much as possible and gently tap my fingers. These are my secrets on how to survive travel, change of place and everyday life! 😀 Let me know in the comment - Did you know any of them?
